In short
Procal does not collect any personal data. There is no account to create. The numbers you type stay on your device and are never sent to us.
What you type
Quantities, prices, exchange rates, costs and your settings (language, digits) are saved only on your device, so they are still there next time you open Procal: in the app’s own storage on Android, and in your browser’s local storage on the web. Uninstalling the app, or clearing this site’s data in your browser, deletes them.
No analytics, no ads, no trackers
Procal does not count how you use it, shows no ads, has no trackers and sets no cookies. It loads nothing from other websites: its fonts and code come with the app.
Downloading the app
The web app is served by our web host, Netlify, and the Android app is delivered by Google Play. Like any website or store, they receive technical details such as your IP address to deliver the app, under their own privacy policies. Procal itself does not receive these details.
When you share
Share sends the text or picture of your result only to the app you pick in your phone’s share menu. On the web, if sharing isn’t available, Procal copies the text to your clipboard or saves the picture to your downloads. Procal itself sends nothing anywhere.
When you email us
“Send feedback” opens your own email app with our address and a subject that names the app version and platform. We only see what you choose to send. We use it to answer you and to improve Procal, and we don’t share it with anyone.
Permissions
The Android app asks for no permissions: no camera, contacts, location, photos or files.
Changes
If Procal ever starts to handle data differently, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches the app.
